El Rey del Barrio is a prequel to the successful television series “La Familia del Barrio” set in the ’80s, where El Abuelo was in his maximum splendor. At the same time, Gaspar, el Noruego and Peluzín sought to survive puberty in their new school.
El Abuelo is king in a time of excesses, bad hairstyles, and aerobics, while Gaspar, el Noruego, and the gang go through a stage of self-discovery in the halls of their school. This comedy tells the daily life of this family and friends and how they lived this colorful decade to the fullest.
